The Avengers

The first movie that I'll be talking about, one of the best movies that I have ever seen.

A movie that has great graphic and a fantastic story, not to mention a phenomenal cast. The story isn't focused on one specific character, but rather the Avengers in general, everyone seems to get their own screen time, and we learn more about them. Hawkeye and Black Widow were already introduced, if only briedly in previous movies, but we learn even more about them and create more questions about them. Thor somehow finds his way back to Earth, Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) now portrayed by a new actor, was a complicated character, and he displayed Bruce perfectly. Captain America has to save the world when he won't even take the step into embracing that, but who knew the world needed old fashion? Nick Fury is a complicated man, you can hate him and love him at the same time, it's obvious that he has a dark history that we all want to find out. Phil Coulson was always a favorite from when he first appeared in Iron Man, but little did we know then how big of a role he would play. He was a great comic relief and an inspiration. Tom Hiddleston, I must say is one of my personal favorite actors, and he has done perfectly with Loki. Loki can be seen as a very complicated character, some people just want to view him as downright evil, but others see him as a more complex man, deeply misunderstood. He's used to living in a man's shadow and wants to be seen for who he is, but he hasn't found himself yet, and he's trying all the wrong things to get acknowledgement. And finally, Tony Stark, we all love him, he developed greatly in this film, from fighting for himself to saving the world and risking his own life to save it.

Now to the movie, there's nothing but good things to say about it. The Avengers don't get along right away, they bicker and fight until a common ally is killed in action (or is he?). But just before that attack occurs, there is a fight between all of them in the laboratory, it displays how broken the team is, and the reason why Nick Fury wants the Tesseract, and he does so in an immature manner. That scene is rather immature in general, but it makes sense, the people don't trust each other and there are characteristics that they see in others that they don't like. Then the action begins and unity happens. Then they leave an open ending, displaying that the human race is a challenge and could be fought against for honor, and there's a big man with red skin and an evil grin at the end. For all those who don't know your comics, or just didn't look it up, that's Thanos, a big badass. I can't wait to see how they show him in the movies.

The Beginning

This is just to tell you what this blog is going to be about. I love watching movies, and I thought, "why not write my opinion about them? Criticize them?" So that's exactly what I'm going to do with this blog. So with that, enjoy.
